Reversing Negatives

The brain likes to follow patterns, so our thoughts to tend to continue to follow the patterns in our programming. In our society, we allow many negatives to implant themselves and be reinforced. These negatives then impact the way we see the world. 

If you’d like to change this pattern to a more positive one, an easy way to do that is to actively reverse negative thinking. Start by becoming aware of the negative thought patterns, negative languaging, etc. Then, when you notice it say “cancel, cancel” then the reversal. 

For example: you notice yourself saying, “oh my gosh I could never do that, I’m so unathletic!” So you consciously reverse it and say, “cancel, cancel, I can do that, I am athletic!” 

This trains your brain to instead seek out the positive and also reinforces more positive programming. Give yourself time to acclimate to this new pattern of thinking and you’ll start to notice a difference in about 2 months.
